Group show featuring gallery artists and their collaborators.

Artists Kim Frieders, Renee Robbins and I have built a body of three-way mixed media collaborations including paper collages, acrylic paintings with resin and traditional canvases. A selection of these will be featured, along with a few solo pieces from each of us.

This exhibition will also feature gallery artists David Gillanders, Amanda Hughen and Mary Rousseaux, each working with one other artist in their collaborative practice.

I am currently working on an exciting collaborative project with my 2 friends, Renee Robbins and Kim Frieders. We are working on resin panels, paintings on canvas, and paper collages together.

Our project will be a part of a group show called "Give and Take" at Chicago Art Source Gallery from May 7 - June 14, 2010. More info on the project and the show soon!

The top 4 rows of the Resin Wood Panels page are all of my new resin work. I've been experimenting with richer color palettes as well as iridescence and translucencies. The piece below entitled "Isotope" shows what fun can happen when you play with gouache. Have I mentioned how much I love gouache?

I will be participating in Around the Coyote this weekend in Booth 43 at 1238-40 N. Ashland. I will have many BRAND NEW resin pieces that aren't even on my website yet! I will also be selling magnets of my work. Please stop by and see my new work!

The last open studio night was such a smash the Feather Loft is doing it again! Please come visit me and 15+ other Chicago artists on Thursday, July 23rd from 7-10pm. The Feather Loft buidling is located at 355 N. Laflin and I'm on the 5th floor in studio #502. There will be art, music and beer galore!!!
